Last updated: 2026-06-01

Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of DisputeKit, a software service designed to help merchants organise payment dispute, chargeback and evidence information.

Use of the Service

You may use DisputeKit only if you have authority to connect and manage the relevant Shopify, Stripe or other merchant accounts. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for ensuring your use of the service complies with all applicable laws and third-party platform rules.

No Guarantee of Outcome

DisputeKit helps organise and prepare dispute-related information, but we do not guarantee that any dispute, chargeback or claim will be won, reversed or resolved in your favour.

Integrations

DisputeKit may connect with third-party services such as Shopify and Stripe. Your use of those services remains subject to their own terms, policies and requirements. We are not responsible for outages, data issues, changes or decisions made by third-party providers.

Subscriptions and Billing

Some parts of the service may require a paid subscription. Subscription fees, trial periods, renewals and cancellations will be shown during checkout or inside your account. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card details.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription through the available billing or account management tools. Cancellation will usually take effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated.

Acceptable Use

You must not use DisputeKit to:

  • Violate any law, regulation or third-party platform rule.
  • Upload or process information you do not have permission to use.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or its systems.
  • Interfere with the security, availability or integrity of the service.
  • Use the service for fraudulent, deceptive or abusive purposes.

Customer Data

You are responsible for ensuring that any customer, order, payment or dispute data connected to DisputeKit is processed lawfully and that you have the necessary rights and permissions to use that data with the service.

Availability

We aim to keep DisputeKit available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The service may be updated, modified, suspended or discontinued where necessary.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DisputeKit will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special losses, including loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data or anticipated savings.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Account Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the service if you breach these Terms, misuse the service, fail to pay applicable fees or create legal, security or operational risk.
